I have wanted to color my hair lavender but I have had my doubts then after doing a lot of research on the ion color bright lavender color I decided to, just go for it. I did everything right 80% conditioner and 20% color and surprise, surprise. My hair turned to a horrible shades of ashy grays, lavender, dark lilac, and some ugly green tint.
Then I was, as I knew it this color just fucking sucks, everyone that I used to talk to always said that the pastel colors from ion sucked. Thank god, I had pravana violet color in my cubby where I keep all my hair colors and hair products. Then I mixed the pravana with conditioner but this color is so much more pigmented needless to say my hair turn out much more darker which I was okay with. It rather looked like Ultra Violet from manic panic, I have been very happy with the color.

They used to be 4.29 not they are a bit more and to me they are not worth the price for a color that does not the job it should do.
This is what I say go to Ebay and get yourself a pravana tube they might be a bit more money but they are so much more worth it. That way you can do your own color and yes you have to bleach your hair,which you can get at your local beauty supply, so be careful with the bleaching because it can cause hair breakage and other types of damages to your hair so be prepared to do max conditioning.
Well my sweets tell me what do you think about fantasy colors, do you feel like doing it on your hair in chunks, ombre, or all over, are you scared of how will it turn out, or it is just not for you?

Too much conditioner. I've seen some really nice results with this color. It's not that bad. Plus it won't stain everything in sight and take a month to rinse out like Pravana's Violet.
ReplyDeleteI didn't had enough conditioner to use too much so I had to measured it. I used to work for a beauty supply that carry this product and many customers came in complaining about the pastels that did not take or would rinse out too quickly. My Pravana's lasted so much longer than a month to rinse out. I guess that not everyone hair is the same. I just give my honest opinion is all ^_^;;.
